Larksfield and Arlesey Medical Partnership is seeking a motivated and compassionate Salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive team for 6-8 sessions per week.
This is an excellent opportunity for a GP looking to work within a well-established, patient-focused practice. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality primary care while working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team.
Main duties of the job:- Providing comprehensive, patient-centred general medical services
- Managing a varied clinical caseload, including routine consultations and chronic disease management
- Contributing to practice meetings, clinical discussions, and quality improvement activities
- Supporting continuity of care and maintaining high clinical standards
Larksfield and Arlesey Medical Partnership is a well-established practice based over two sites, serving just under 20,000 local community patients with a strong emphasis on teamwork, continuity, and staff wellbeing. Job responsibilities:- Provide high-quality, evidence-based general medical care to registered patients
- Conduct face-to-face, telephone and online consultations
- Manage acute presentations, chronic disease, and preventative care
- Undertake routine GP duties including referrals, prescriptions and clinical documentation
- Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team
- Participate in practice meetings, clinical governance and quality improvement activities
- Support teaching, training or supervision (if interested not essential)
- GMC-registered GP with a licence to practise
- On the NHS England GP Performers List
- Strong clinical, communication and organisational skills
- Commitment to patient-centred care and teamwork
- Experience using SystmOne
- Previous experience in UK general practice
- Interest in extended access, mentoring, or service development
- Portfolio interests welcomed and supported
- Flexible working with 6-8 sessions available
- Optional Extended Access sessions for additional income

- Experience of working as an independent General Practitioner in the UK
- Experience in managing a wide range of acute and chronic conditions
- Experience of working within a multidisciplinary team
- Experience in a similar role within NHS primary care
- Experience of QOF, enhanced services, or PCN working
- Special interest (e.g. diabetes, women's health, mental health, minor surgery, palliative care / care homes)
