As we move on to new projects, the studio that brought you Baldur’s Gate 3 & Divinity: Original Sin 2 is looking for an Infrastructure engineer to join the team and help us in crafting the high calibre games our fans have come to expect.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general technical troubleshooting and give consultation to development teams.
  • Support incident discussion and resolution.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation on configurations, changes and standard operating procedures.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for software and hardware support.
  • Monitor server health and system performance to ensure uptime and reliability for critical building systems.
  • Perform routine server maintenance, including patching, updates and backups, with a focus on minimizing disruptions to critical operations.
  • Administer Windows server and related server applications.
  • Participate in incident response and emergency procedures related to studio building management systems.
  • Coordinate and maintain local studio IT infrastructure and collaborate with global IT and studio management on server room upkeep and building modifications.
  • Collaborate with international IT team in system development, testing and release.
  • Support network, security, and linux teams in their operations.
  • Efficient onboarding and offboarding of users.
  • Provide support for users in overseas studio locations and working remotely.
  • Manage inventory and assets.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Windows Systems (Client and Server).
  • Advanced knowledge of PC and laptop support, combined with a strong awareness of current hardware trends and innovations.
  • Experience with Intune deployment.
  • Troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience managing a virtualized infrastructure.
  • Experience with Google Workplace, Office365, Atlassian Suite.
  • Understanding of networking concepts (WAN, LAN, TCP/IP, VPN, VLAN).
  • Ability to work flexible hours around IT infrastructure upgrades and migrations.

This is a full-time, on-site role, requiring your presence in the office to support teams collaboration.

Nice to have

  • Basic knowledge of public cloud environments like AWS, Azure.
  • Experience administering server hardware.
  • Experience in automation and deployment tools.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git, Perforce).
  • Experience with backup software (Commvault, Veeam, Netbackup).
