Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week with some flexibility
Salary: £13,45 per hour, rising from year two
Reports to: Business Administrator for Highland and Edinburgh Communities
Place of work: L’Arche Highland Office, Inverness
Contract type: Permanent. Full-time

Main purpose of the role
The main purpose of the role is to provide efficient and professional administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of L’Arche in our Highland and Edinburgh Communities.
This includes managing correspondence, maintaining accurate records, coordinating schedules and meetings, and supporting colleagues with administrative tasks.
The role aims to improve organisation, efficiency and communication while providing a high standard of service to staff, clients and other stakeholders.
Key essential criteria
- 1-2 years’ experience within administration.
- Attention to detail.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and be discreet.
- Ability to plan and organise time and tasks effectively.
- Ability to work flexibly across a variety of workstreams.
- Open to the wider L’Arche Community life and relationships with those with and without learning disabilities.
- Knowledge and experience of working with MS Office applications.
