Overview
The L’Arche Internship is a year‑long experience living in a L’Arche community alongside people with learning disabilities.
Interns work as support workers and participate in a training programme focused on care, disability, community development, reflection, and spirituality.
Responsibilities
- Provide 34 hours per week of support and care to community members with learning disabilities.
- Dedicate 6 hours per week to a bespoke training programme that includes meetings with fellow interns and facilitators to explore topics such as activism, power, personal growth, and change‑making.
- Apply learning to practice by participating in and developing community activities within your own community.
