A prestigious global law firm is on the lookout for a dynamic Junior Compliance Analyst to join their thriving Business Acceptance team in Liverpool. In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting the team's Manager and Senior Analysts, helping to drive the smooth intake of new clients and matters while contributing to the firm's continued growth and success.

Salary up to £31,000 per annum

Hybrid working – 3 days in the office / 2 days remote

Key Responsibilities of the Junior Compliance Analyst:
  • Responsible for day-to-day tasks relating to all aspects of the firm's Client and Matter Inception processes
  • Undertake client due diligence checks, using external and internal databases, and determine the nature and level of due diligence required to comply with Anti-Money Laundering Regulations
  • Carry out conflict searches and identify and resolve (and escalate as appropriate) any conflict issues arising out of searches undertaken or reviewed
  • Provide advice to partners, fee earners and secretaries on Anti-Money Laundering, general inception and conflicts queries
Key Skills & Requirements of the Junior Compliance Analyst:
  • Enthusiastic about risk management and compliance, with a desire to build relationships with internal clients
  • Experience in conducting client due diligence and/or conflicts analysis is preferred
  • Demonstrable understanding of the SRA's rules regarding conflicts of interest and confidentiality, as well as commercial conflicts is an advantage
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to research and succinctly present information compiled from various sources
