This city based global law firm are looking to hire a Senior Legal Cashier on a 12 month FTC basis to provide cover and head up firmwide office account cashier duties.

Reporting into the Head Cashier, the Senior Legal Cashier will take charge on all transactional client accounting functions, setting up procedures on Elite 3E providing a comprehensive and efficient service to partners and business support functions.
Senior Legal Cashier Duties include:
- Processing of day-to-day client accounts transactions, entering and releasing payments to the online banking system, posting receipts and registering disbursement vouchers
- Processing client to office transfers in line with SAR compliance procedures
- Identification of unallocated client receipts
- Run interest calculations on any funds held on completion or payments made, in line with the Firm’s interest policy and SAR regulations
- Operation of designated deposits
- Reconciling Bank Statements with Elite 3E cashbook entries
Senior Legal Cashier Requirements:
- A current legal client cashier with minimum 5 years’ experience working in a busy accounts department, handling client accounts and SRA audits
- Experience with Elite 3E preferred
- Flexible and patient attitude towards working practices and processes
- Communicate confidently and responsively to wider staff and clients with regards to handling queries and actioning tasks
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic
*Candidates will be available for a Jan 2026 start and able to commit for a minimum of 12 months
