This city‑based global law firm is looking to hire a Senior Legal Cashier on a 12‑month FTC basis to provide cover and head up firm‑wide office account cashier duties.
Reporting into the Head Cashier, the Senior Legal Cashier will take charge of all transactional client accounting functions, setting up procedures in Elite 3E to provide a comprehensive and efficient service to partners and business support functions.

Hybrid working: 4 days in office, 1 remote
City of London
Senior Legal Cashier Duties include:
- Processing day‑to‑day client account transactions, entering and releasing payments to the online banking system, posting receipts and registering disbursement vouchers
- Processing client to office transfers in line with SAR compliance procedures
- Identifying unallocated client receipts
- Running interest calculations on funds held on completion or payments made, in line with the firm’s interest policy and SAR regulations
- Operating designated deposits
- Reconciling bank statements with Elite 3E cashbook entries
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a busy accounts department handling client accounts and SRA audits
- Experience with Elite 3E preferred
- Flexible and patient attitude towards working practices and processes
- Confident and responsive communication with wider staff and clients regarding queries and task actioning
- Self‑motivated and enthusiastic
*Candidates will be available for a Jan 2026 start and able to commit for a minimum of 12 months.
