A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Conflicts Analyst to join a fast-growing transatlantic law firm on a permanent basis. The Senior Conflicts Analyst will work within new business intake in London and will play a key role in supporting the Firm and the Business Acceptance team in the identification, substantive analysis and resolution of ethical and commercial conflicts and related regulatory compliance matters.

Key Responsibilities:
- This role will be a key point of liaison between the US conflicts team and UK Partners to support the resolution of conflicts which will mainly be cleared in accordance with ABA rules. This will involve an explanation of the ABA rules and the differences with SRA rules to obtain the information required to support decision making.
- Analyse search results in accordance with applicable ethical rules and Firm policies; proposing issue resolution in a clear and concise manner for escalation to the US team where appropriate.
- Review standard and non-standard engagement letters and draft waivers / consents as needed.
- Confirm the need for ethical walls, prepare supporting documentation, escalating as appropriate.
- Work with the Head of Business Acceptance to analyse and resolve complex conflict issues.
- Review and approve new client forms prepared by the Conflict Analysts.
