A highly successful London law firm is seeking to hire a newly qualified Management Accountant to join their collaborative and fast-paced Accounts team.
Salary and Benefits
- Salary £65,000 per annum plus excellent employee benefits (27 days holiday, health insurance and employee wellbeing programme)
- Hybrid working (3 days in the office / 2 days remote), 09:30-17:30
- Location: London Bridge
This role offers an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified accountant to apply their skills in a dynamic legal environment, gain valuable experience, and contribute to the firm’s financial success. The successful candidate will report to the Financial Controller and will be joining a highly supportive and welcoming team in London, which is led by the Finance Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the senior members of the team and build relationships with internal clients and external suppliers.
- Support the financial management of the firm by preparing, analysing, and reporting on management accounting information.
- Provide accurate financial insights to assist the Financial Controller and Finance Director in strategic decision-making.
- Calculation of provisions monthly in relation to WIP and debt and other balance sheet reconciliation.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, budgets, and cash flow reports.
- Regular/ad hoc review of the firm’s P&L and general ledger to ensure accurate and timely reporting of costs and tax treatments.
Minimum Requirements
- Recently qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Extensive awareness of legal finance in a law firm including a strong working knowledge of SARs and AML.
- Experience of 3E is desirable.
