A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an exceptional Senior HR Business Partner to join a leading global law firm on an initial 14-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you’ll deliver high-level HR support and act as a trusted advisor to your designated client group. Working closely with senior leadership, you will help shape a high-performing culture, lead strategic and impactful HR initiatives, and serve as a key escalation point for complex employee relations and generalist HR matters.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Act as a trusted HR adviser to senior leaders, understanding business priorities and workforce needs
- Identify and advise on key people priorities, including capability, workforce planning, succession, retention and organisational design
- Partner with leaders on talent, performance, development and succession, including annual performance, salary and bonus processes
- Coach and challenge leaders on complex people matters, balancing employee experience, commercial needs, risk and legal requirements
- Lead complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, performance and absence matters
- Use people data and insight to identify trends, risks and opportunities and recommend action
- Advise leaders on fair, consistent and inclusive people practices, including wellbeing and attendance
- Support organisational change, restructuring and team design, ensuring people risks and requirements are effectively managed
- Partner with Reward, Recruitment, L&D, D&I and HR Operations to deliver joined-up people solutions
- Coach and develop HR Advisers, supporting quality, capability and effective client service
What We’re Looking For:
- Established HR Business Partnering experience gained within a law firm or professional services
- Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Ability to use people data, management information and evidence to identify themes, inform decisions and recommend targeted interventions
- Experience supporting annual people processes, organisational change, workforce planning, performance management, engagement and wellbeing initiatives
- Part or fully CIPD qualified, or able to demonstrate equivalent professional experience
