Elite US law firm with ultra-modern offices in the City is seeking an ambitious and proactive Payroll Coordinator. In this role, you’ll assist in managing end-to-end payroll and processing, working closely with internal teams across Finance and HR, ensuring payrolls are accurate, compliant, and timely each month.

Working with and reporting into the Payroll Manager, you will assist in managing end-to-end payroll processing for 1000+ UK staff using ADP, SDWorx, work closely with internal teams across Finance & HR, and maintain strong relationships with third-party providers including Pension administrators.

Payroll Coordinator Key Responsibilities
  • Support with all UK payroll and other EMEA offices
  • Enter new starter details, process leavers, and input payroll variables to meet payroll deadlines
  • Flag any discrepancies or missing information and process P45s
  • Provide P11D and PSA preparation support
  • Work closely with HR and Finance colleagues on payroll submissions and approvals
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of current UK payroll legislation
  • Prepare and upload pension data in compliance with the pension’s regulator
  • Upload monthly client invoices for payment
  • Work closely with the US team in processing shadow payrolls
Payroll Coordinator Skills & Requirements
  • Applicants must have 2-3 years’ payroll experience in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of UK Legislation & Benefits rules
  • P11D and PSA knowledge desirable
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
