A Law Firm based in Central London, recognised as one of London’s leading national and international Tax & Estate Planning practices, is seeking to hire a Legal PA (8-month FTC) in the Tax & Estate Planning team. As a Legal PA, you will provide secretarial and administrative support to at least six fee earners: four partners, one associate, and a trainee.

Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring that all typing is completed within the required time frames.
- Ensuring that client files are maintained and up to date at all times, including the opening and closing of client matters, and filing of relevant documentation.
- Obtaining billing guides and preparing draft bills (with fee earner input).
- Creation and maintenance of new clients’ records on SOS.
- Managing queries from clients and others to assist the fee earners.
- Managing fee earner’s diaries on a daily basis, including organising and scheduling meetings, appointments, arranging lunches etc.
- Organising file reviews for the department and working with Risk & Compliance to ensure deadlines are met.
- Assisting fee earners in arranging and booking various training courses by completing training requests, booking individuals on courses, requesting payment from Accounts etc.
- Supporting the wider team by assisting in any overflow of outstanding PA work.
- Other tasks commensurate with the post as required.
Skills & Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to prioritise workloads and work on own initiative.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- High level of attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Fast accurate typing with excellent grammar and spelling.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, in particular Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Previous experience as a legal secretary within private client is preferred and experience of supporting 5+ fee earners in a busy environment is desirable.
- Formal secretarial training e.g. ILEX is desirable, but not essential.
