Job Description Legal Cashier Leading London based commercial law firm is seeking an experienced and proactive Legal Cashier to join its close knit Finance team, supporting the Finance Manager across a varied range of legal cashier responsibilities. Hybrid working (3 days office / 2 days remote) The Legal Cashier will handle firmwide office and client account ledgers, including client accounting, purchase ledger invoices, WIP write-offs, time transfers and analysing residual client balances. This is a perfect opportunity for a seasoned legal cashier who is confident in their ability to handle a broad role and ensure compliance with Solicitor Accounts Rules when carrying all day to day tasks. Legal Cashier – What You’ll Be Doing: Processing client account payments and receipts Client-to-office and office-to-client account transfers Daily bank reconciliations Analysing and reporting residual client account balances Managing designated deposit account deposits and withdrawals Matter and deeds archiving Legal Cashier – What We’re Looking For: Minimum 3+ years’ current experience in a legal cashier role at a law firm is essential Detailed working knowledge of the Solicitors Accounts Rule Hold a qualification with the ILFM or other professional accounting qualification is a plus
