Busy International firm is looking to hire a risk paralegal to join the growing Liverpool office, who already has a Training Contract secured in August 2026 or 2027, to join their growing Risk team on an initial 3-month FTC, with the view of extension. This role will be offering high-level work from day one, so candidates need to have strong education and work ethic and want to learn and develop prior to your TC starting.

~Hybrid – 3 days in the office, 2 remote

~Stunning central Liverpool location

~9:30am-5:30pm office hours

In addition to having a Training Contract secured, the firm is looking for paralegal applicants with the right attitude, aptitude and professionalism. As this is a high-level paralegal position, the firm needs the candidate to have the right levels of gravitas as you will have exposure to both internal and external key stakeholders plus will be getting involved in drafting and transactional work in addition to the general administrative paralegal duties.

Responsibilities of the Training Contract Paralegal:

  • Liaising with the relevant internal teams to promote the use of the new contract management system (High Q)
  • Assisting with updating template(s) and supplier questionnaires to capture the relevant information for managing the supply chain contracts and basic details of the same
  • Working with various Business Service teams across the Firm to ensure that all current contracts are identified and captured within the system
  • Managing the upload of existing contracts to the system
  • Assisting with the ongoing development of the contract management system and the process for how the contract lifecycle is maintained, tracked and communicated to the relevant Business Service teams (i.e. alerts for expiry/ renewal / extension dates / key change dates / notice triggers)
  • The Management and administration of the procurement matter intake mailbox
  • Assisting with the review of Supplier questionnaires and onboarding of new suppliers

Requirements of the Training Contract Paralegal:

  • Must have a Training Contract in place for August 2026 onwards
  • Excellent research skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong IT/computer skills – Microsoft Office and able to learn new systems
