Job Description
Leveraged Finance Paralegal
Leading US law firm with a strong presence in London is recruiting a confident and assertive Leveraged Finance Paralegal to complement their growing team.
- Salary to £45,000 (plus paid overtime)
- 09:30-17:30 working hours and current hybrid policy is Tuesday-Thursday (3 days office / 2 days remote)

The firm has just welcomed a new partner to the team to further elevate their leveraged finance and private credit practice, so it’s a particularly exciting time to join and contribute to their award-winning success.
Leveraged Finance Paralegal Key Responsibilities:
- Proofread transaction documentation and client communications
- Assist with closing – preparing signing packs, co-ordinating signing, and completion
- Assist with filing and transaction document management
- Act as a key member of the deal team on all transactions, including liaising with opposing counsel, overseas counsel and running conditions precedent processes
- Support lawyers with updating of precedents, legal research, pitch documents and responses to tenders as requested
- Assist with business development and marketing, including attending client events where appropriate
- Type and produce high quality documents as required
Leveraged Finance Paralegal Skills & Requirements:
- Previous legal and transactional experience, preferably at a major City or US law firm, in a corporate discipline
- Advanced knowledge of MS Word and other MS Office products including research tools
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Must be able to self-manage and deal with conflicting priorities from different sources
