HR Assistant
A top-tier US Law Firm is seeking to hire a proactive and organised HR Assistant to join their vibrant London office. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with the HR generalist team, gaining lots of exposure to various HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, diversity & inclusion, and performance management, whilst providing valuable administrative support across a variety of day-to-day tasks.
- Salary £35,000-£38,000 per annum
- Working hours – 09:30-17:30 (Monday-Friday)
- Hybrid working (4 days in the office / 1 day remote)
Key Responsibilities of the HR Assistant:
- Assisting the HR team with the hiring and leavers processes and taking ownership of the employee life cycle
- Ensuring all data relating to payroll including salary changes, benefits, family leave, secondments, pension contributions and expenses are accurately collated
- Responsible for maintaining accurate HR data using their HR system (Workday) and various team related spreadsheets and preparing reports
- Drafting Firm related correspondence and ensuring e-filing is done in a timely manner
- Ad-hoc project work and support
Requirements of the HR Assistant:
- Previous HR experience, ideally with a Law Firm
- Superb verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with a proactive, self-starter attitude
- Capability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet strict deadlines and prioritise workloads effectively
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
