A leading UK law firm is seeking a proactive Junior Paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can adapt confidently to shifting priorities and deadlines. This highly competitive opportunity would be perfect for a recent Law Graduate with excellent academics who is keen to learn and develop their experience in the field.

Competitive salary, 25 days annual leave + office closure between Christmas and New Year, a one-hour early finish one Friday a month, and the opportunity to participate in sports teams, hobby clubs, and social events.

Key Responsibilities of the Junior Paralegal:
  • Managing fee earner’s diaries including organising and scheduling meetings, appointments, as well as taking an active role in arranging and sometimes attending marketing activities.
  • Liaising with third parties in relation to criminal and police misconduct cases, i.e. dealing with clients, Fed Reps, counsel’s chambers, CPS, insurers and other third parties.
  • Responsibility for ensuring that any incoming document production tasks are monitored and are completed within the required time frames.
  • Assisting with ensuring that all files are maintained, to include opening and closing processes and filing of relevant documents.
  • Preparing billing guides and draft bills (with fee earner input) and supporting the team in managing effective and timely billing processes.
Skills & Requirements of the Junior Paralegal:
  • Previous experience in a support role would be advantageous.
  • Recent Law Graduate with excellent academics.
  • History of working with CMS systems such as Proclaim, i-Manage and In-Tapp would be desirable, however adequate training will be provided.
  • Experience with Business Crime and Regulatory specialism within the legal sector would be advantageous, however, for candidates showing adaptability and keen to learn, adequate training and support to develop.
