Overview

Larbey Evans is working with a prestigious international law firm to recruit an Early Careers Assistant to join their offices in London on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract.

Base pay and location

Salary to £35,000 + generous employee benefits, including wellbeing fund, gym membership contribution, and more. Location: London (Liverpool Street / Fenchurch Street).

Responsibilities

  • Assist with managing the firm’s Winter, Spring and Summer vacation schemes (review applications, booking rooms and speakers for presentations/workshops and internal events)
  • Book Partners and Senior Associates for Assessment Centres and assist with last-minute replacements
  • Organise the campus ambassador recruitment process, including advertising roles, processing and pre-selection of applications, arranging and conducting interviews
  • Promote and outreach to school leavers for the Solicitor Apprenticeship Programmes with Managers and Advisers
  • Organise onboarding processes, including offer letters, payroll forms, welcome packs, and induction days
  • Attend campus events / law fairs between October-December
  • Act as main point of contact for all future joiners’ queries and initiate/manage pre-employment checks

Skills & Requirements

  • 12 months+ office experience (experience within Early Careers recruitment would be advantageous)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
