Job Description

Director of Facilities

International law firm is seeking a Facilities Director to join their thriving Facilities department in London on a permanent basis.

  • Generous Salary
  • 9.30am to 5.30pm

Director of Facilities Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the management of the firm’s premises and facilities inc. lease obligations, space efficiency, cost management, and office relocations.
  • Overseas travel to the firms international offices to negotiate office renewals and source new office locations.
  • Strong understanding of both Real Estate Management & Procurement and Facilities Management.
  • Collaborating with the CFO and local partners to develop tailored premises strategies.
  • Manage a £17m budget for the London office.
  • Lead a team of 26 employees.
  • Overseeing both in-house and outsourced facilities service inc. catering, security, cleaning, and mechanical and electrical services.

Director of Facilities Requirements:

  • Facilities Director experience gained from a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Knowledge of Real Estate Management.
  • People management experience.
  • Comfortable with regular overseas travel.
  • Ability to be flexible to meet the demands of the work.
  • Relevant facilities management qualifications.
