Prestigious US firm is hiring a new Paralegal to join the Corporate, Private Equity and M&A group in London on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract.

  • Up to £55,000

Reporting into the Knowledge Counsel, you will provide paralegal support to partners and associates across the private equity M&A department.

Corporate Paralegal Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with maintaining and keeping updated the team’s know-how resources, and with other training-related administration.
  • Carrying out some tasks on behalf of fee earners, freeing them from routine things which do not require legal qualification.
  • Assisting junior associates and trainees with procedures that may be unfamiliar to them.
  • Assisting the team with legal research and writing.
  • Assisting with administrative matters related to the team’s learning and development programme.
  • Preparing filings for submission to competition authorities.
  • Assisting trainees with compiling transaction bibles/similar.
  • Assisting with planning of events, webinars, and training.

Corporate Paralegal Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Previous Corporate Paralegal experience is preferable.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Ability to work directly with lawyers.
