Risk and Compliance Lawyer Stand-out US law firm is hiring a new Risk and Compliance Lawyer / Attorney to join their expanding General Counsel department. Risk and Compliance Lawyer / Attorney – What you’ll be doing (will include but not limited to): Keeping abreast of relevant regulatory and compliance changes/developments and monitoring how this will affect firm policy; Advising on policy changes that will need to take place in line with regulatory developments and changes in law as required and draft amendments to such policies; Support with training for the firm and team; Working closely with the firm's Director of European Risk and Compliance on risk and compliance projects; Supervising junior members of the risk and compliance team and offering guidance as appropriate; Working with key stakeholders and acting as a representative for the firm's compliance function at events; Supporting the firm with general risk and compliance queries; Assisting with data privacy and appropriate analysis as it relates to work of the OGC.
