Globally renowned US law firm is seeking an experienced HR Specialist to join their quickly expanding London office to work alongside Partners, Managers, and other key members of the firm to provide comprehensive HR advice, solutions, and support, covering legal talent and professional staff, for the firm’s European offices.
Salary to £60,000 (with flex)

HR Specialist Key Responsibilities:
- Support with formal employee relations matters including investigations, capability hearings, disciplinary hearings, probation review processes, and flexible working requests
- Lead on informal ER issues including absence management and informal performance reviews
- Support the annual review process for legal talent and professional staff
- Support the HR Assistants and Coordinators with written communication/letters and support them with payroll to ensure the HRIS team receive all required information in a timely manner
- Lead on all immigration matters for current employees and on all inbound secondments
- Work with the HR Management team to assist with communications and materials for the annual review process for legal talent and professional staff
- Work with the Senior HR Manager to review and update HR policies and procedures
- Provide guidance on the interpretation of HR policies to managers and partners in conjunction with UK, Belgian and Luxembourg employment law
HR Specialist Skills & Requirements:
- CIPD and Degree educated candidates are highly advantageous
- 5+ years of proven HR generalist experience is required
- Knowledge of wider HR processes across all areas of HR
- Knowledge of HR Systems (e.g. Workday) and other office software
- Knowledge of current employment legislation, best practice and potential developments
