HR Officer - Recruitment & Training in City of London

HR Advisor A premier US law firm in the city is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to support the London team on an 18 month – FTC. The human resources function at the firm oversees the operational aspects of payroll, employee benefits and the implementation of HR policies and procedures. What’s on Offer: ~ Competitive Salary ~18 months – FTC ~ Hybrid working ~ Fantastic Employee Benefits HR Advisor – What you’ll be doing: Manage parental leave processes, including maternity, shared parental and paternity leave. Manage long-term absence and occupational health cases. Oversee immigration matters, including visa applications, renewals and tracking. Assist with arrangements for short-term assignments to and from other offices and client secondments Manage flexible working requests. Support on HRIS (Workday) projects, initiatives, and programmes for London. Provide support on employee relations matters. Carry out employee onboarding and offboarding processes. Draft HR correspondence and letters as required. Produce ad-hoc reports when required. Support cyclical HR activities and provide ad-hoc assistance to the Director of Administration and Head of HR, if required. HR Advisor- What we are looking for : Previous experience in a law firm environment. Knowledge of UK immigration matters, including sponsorship. Strong knowledge of UK employment law. Strong IT skills: Workday experience is advantageous. Highly organised, responsive, and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
