Top City law firm is seeking a CIPD qualified HR Manager with prior law firm experience to join their London office on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract.

  • 12-month fixed-term contract
  • Hybrid working – 3 days in the office / 2 days remote

HR Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Be an escalation point and provide guidance to the HR Advisors, Recruitment Coordinator and HR Administrator on a day-to-day basis
  • Advise on ER issues including support the Head of HR with more complex ER issues and coaching and guiding the HR Advisors with their client group ER issues
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle for client group including absences, extended leave, probation periods and leavers processes
  • Work closely with the Training Principal in the successful delivery of the firm’s Training Contract
  • Organise and run the Firm’s Summer Vacation Scheme, with support from the Recruitment Coordinator
  • Manage (in liaison with the course provider and Trainees) the PSC course and support Trainees in the successful completion of the SQE2 as required

HR Manager Skills & Requirements:

  • Must have HR Manager experience working in a law firm, ideally with Trainees and Vacation Schemes
  • In depth knowledge of HR best practice & understanding of HR strategy
