Business Development Assistant – 6 Month FTC

A fantastic opportunity for a Business Development Assistant to begin their career in BD & Marketing at one of the world’s leading US law firms!

  • Salary to £40,000 + excellent firm benefits and perks, including free breakfast and a subsidised lunch
  • 6-month fixed-term contract
  • The firm offers hybrid working, with the team typically working 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely
  • Stunning offices near Liverpool Street

Key Responsibilities of the Business Development Assistant:

  • Supporting the firm’s business development efforts by maintaining various firmwide databases such as the pitch and credentials trackers.
  • Supporting Managers with annual legal directory and award submissions.
  • Assisting at events and corporate hospitality as and when required.
  • Inputting and managing content in the Client Relationship Management system, including list management for mailings and events.
  • Assisting with the preparation of standard materials (credentials, pitches, bios etc.) and keeping everything up to date.
  • Inputting content into Concep (newsletter and event invite software) and sending out mailings.
  • Monitoring and responding to general Marketing and Business Development queries

Skills & Requirements of the Business Development Assistant:

  • 1 year of relevant Marketing & Business Development experience is preferred.
  • Strong writing skills, editing ability, and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) will be required for this role.
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent judgement and discretion regarding confidential and commercially sensitive information.
