Larbey Evans is working with an award-winning US law firm to recruit a Paralegal to join their White-Collar Crime team in their London office on a permanent basis.
Salary to £51,500. 09:30-17:30 working hours and hybrid working (3 days office / 2 days remote). Excellent employee benefits!
This opportunity will provide hands-on experience within a high-calibre legal environment, primarily in the form of document preparation, coordination, production, distribution, and legal research.
Key Responsibilities:- Cite checks, Shepardizes and proofreads briefs, memoranda of law, opinions and other documents.
- Analyse constitutional documents, prepare statutory declarations, and draft ancillary documents e.g. board minutes, director resignation letters, stock transfer forms etc.
- Proofread and edit documents e.g. loan note registers, subscription documents, share certificates.
- Assist in preparation of all legal documents.
- Perform non-legal research using various research tools, including the Internet, Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER and other court-related websites for case law, statutes, articles, books, etc.
- 1-3 years’ experience within a law firm in a similar paralegal position.
- Law Degree or Graduate Diploma in Law or similar.
- Ability to navigate electronic databases and possess strong proficiency in using various research tools i.e. Westlaw UK, Lexis Library, Practical Law, company registries and other court-related websites.
