An exciting opportunity has arisen for a temporary Events Assistant to join this highly ranked international law firm based in Central London, on an initial 2-4 week temporary assignment.

Reporting to the Events Manager, the purpose of the role is to provide an efficient and professional Events service to the firm and clients. The Events Assistant will be responsible for all administrative aspects of planning, managing and running the firm's annual events programme. This includes being present onsite at events to ensure high quality and smooth running.

The Events Assistant will be responsible for:

  • Handling the logistics for each event from start to finish, creating letters, invitations, mailing lists, badges, managing the response through the CRM database (One Place)
  • Developing client seminars/webinars and special events in order to raise the profile of the firm
  • Assisting with sourcing suitable venues, overseeing all on-site hospitality and ensuring all necessary equipment is available
  • Staying abreast of competitor activity, new event industry developments and maintaining external supplier relationships
  • Supporting in creating the events newsletter
  • Supporting BD projects and other firm initiatives as needed
  • Other tasks include inbox maintenance, booking corporate events and concerts and maintaining strong supplier relations

The Events Assistant requirements include:

  • Degree educated, ideally in Events Management
  • Minimum 6-12 months events organisational experience within a corporate environment
  • Self-motivated individual, with strong IT and Event Management / CRM database skills, who is highly organised and can keep to strict deadlines.
