Senior Legal PA – Employment

Our award-winning international law firm client is seeking a proactive and meticulous Senior Legal PA to support the Chair of Employment and one other Senior Partner in their high-achieving Employment department. This role calls for someone who brings solid experience at senior board level, alongside great energy, and a forward-thinking.

  • Salary to £50,000
  • Hybrid working – 3 days in the office / 2 days remote

Senior Legal PA – Employment Key Responsibilities

  • Acting as a first point of contact on behalf of the fee earners
  • Supporting fee earners and Senior Legal PAs in the smooth running of the client/matter lifecycle
  • Assisting fee earners to ensure compliance with the Firm\’s documented compliance policy and guidelines, particularly around new matters, retainer letters, conflict checks, searches, CDD & KYC
  • Proactive and advanced calendar management for assigned fee earners (scheduling calls / meetings)
  • Organising business breakfasts, dinners, or smaller events
  • Full management of travel and expenses for assigned fee earners
  • Prepare, amend, and proofread documents
  • Develop a strong working knowledge of the firm\’s billing systems
  • Supporting fee earners with monitoring and addressing unpaid bills
  • Coordinate the WIP lists and billing on behalf of Partners

Senior Legal PA – Employment Key Skills & Requirements

  • Proven experience working as a Legal PA / Secretary within a recognised law firm at senior level
  • Experience gained within an Employment team/practice group would be advantageous
  • Excellent IT skills across a broad range of MS Office with a willingness to learn new software and adapt to change
  • A strong team player, willing to take on work for additional fee earners and/or help with other tasks as needed to meet the needs of the business
  • Enjoy working in a busy and fast paced environment
