Risk & Compliance Officer
Our international law firm client is seeking to hire a Risk & Compliance Officer on a permanent basis to provide support on all areas surrounding risk, regulatory compliance and conflict matters for their London office based in the beating heart of the city.Â

Key Responsibilities of the Risk & Compliance Officer:

- Assisting in on-boarding new clients and matters and ensuring that all details are correct.
- Conducting client due diligence, reviewing KYC documentation and undertaking AML and sanctions searches on clients.
- Reviewing any changes to the client which may have an impact on client or matter risk.
- Ensuring that matter information is kept accurate and up to date.
- Assisting in the production of spreadsheets to monitor client and matter inception process status.
- Assisting Risk Lawyers in preparation of annual internal file audits.

Skills & Requirements of the Risk & Compliance Officer:

- Excellent academics with a Law Degree or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years’ compliance experience within a law firm is essential for this role.
- Previous AML experience.
- A high level of proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel.
