A US law firm is seeking a Private Equity Executive Assistant to work one-to-one with their Managing Partner to offer full organisational and gatekeeping support. Standard hours will be 9:30am to 5:30pm with lots of paid overtime available on an initial 12-month FTC basis.
Basic Salary: £70,000 (with flexibility)
Paid overtime: considerable
Bonus: upon completion of initial contract
Office working: Monday to Friday in the West End
Working for: one of the most noted lawyers in London/Europe
Private Equity Executive Assistant duties:
- Provide extensive and complex diary and travel management across multiple time zones.
- Prioritise tasks, flag important items and ensure the Managing Partner is well-prepared for all interactions, from routine updates, client birthdays to meeting briefs.
- Plan, schedule and manage meetings effectively including proactive preparation and consolidation of agendas, materials, minutes and follow up actions.
- Draft high-quality correspondence and communicate with integrity on behalf of the Managing Partner.
- Monitor support needed during the Senior Partner’s travel across the world and ensure timely support related to itinerary changes, meeting schedule updates and all relevant local logistics.
- Ensure adequate support on the ground.
- Gatekeeping for all calls/emails and forging strong and trusted relationships with the Managing Partner and clients.
Private Equity Executive Assistant requirements:
- Previous experience supporting a senior Private Equity / Hedge Fund / Investment Banking Stakeholder.
- Willingness, ability and commitment to working long hours when needed (all paid).
- Happy to be office-based Monday to Friday.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, managing multiple priorities with professionalism and discretion.
