Our top UK law firm client in the City is on the lookout for a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, to ensure the firm’s technology landscape remains efficient, secure, and continuously evolving to drive innovation and uphold best practices across all cloud and infrastructure activities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the firms technology environment is continually evolving and is configured in a way that provides a stable, high performing and secure environment
- Design, implement, and continually manage Azure cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, security, and high availability
- Administer and optimize Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments
- Develop Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform to streamline provisioning and configuration
- Develop a deep understanding of the firm’s existing IT infrastructure and cyber security defences and actively search for areas of improvement
- Continuously monitor and optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency, performance, and reliability, leveraging automation and best practices
- Implement robust security controls, identity management, and compliance frameworks to meet organisational and regulatory requirements
Skills & Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft cloud services and the broader Microsoft technology stack (Azure Active Directory, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, related SaaS offerings)
- Expertise in Azure services and architecture, including automation using Terraform
- Deep understanding of cloud security principles, identity and access management, and compliance frameworks
- Solid understanding of a broad range of general IT topics and applications across the legal industry (iManage, 3E, Intapp, Mimecast, Tessian, Litera suite)
- Knowledge of networking concepts (VPN, firewalls, load balancing) in cloud environments
