Our international law firm client is seeking to hire a Risk & Compliance Officer on a permanent basis to provide support on all areas surrounding risk, regulatory compliance and conflict matters for their London office based in the beating heart of the city.
Salary to £45,000
Hybrid working – 3 days in the office / 2 days remote

Key Responsibilities of the Risk & Compliance Officer:- Assisting in on-boarding new clients and matters and ensuring that all details are correct.
- Conducting client due diligence, reviewing KYC documentation and undertaking AML and sanctions searches on clients.
- Reviewing any changes to the client which may have an impact on client or matter risk.
- Ensuring that matter information is kept accurate and up to date.
- Assisting in the production of spreadsheets to monitor client and matter inception process status.
- Assisting Risk Lawyers in preparation of annual internal file audits.
- Excellent academics with a Law Degree or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years’ compliance experience within a law firm is essential for this role.
- Previous AML experience.
- A high level of proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel.
