Powerhouse US law firm with ultra-modern and pristine offices in the West End is seeking a Junior Finance Assistant with a willingness to learn and develop new skills under the Firm's apprenticeship scheme. In this role, you will focus on supporting all transactional finance duties for the London office and will play a key role in ensuring the firm is achieving its cash targets.
Salary to £28,000. Full time Office based (moving to 4 days office / 1 day remote upon completion of probation). Exceptional employee benefits including 10% Firm pension contribution. Wellness program of £100 per month. Free in-office meals. West End, London.
Key Responsibilities of the Junior Finance Assistant:- Process accounts payable invoices in Emburse and upload multi-line invoices into Aderant, ensuring accurate matter allocation and compliance with internal procedures.
- Maintain and update internal charge logs for taxi, meal and courier suppliers.
- Prepare weekly payment runs and ad hoc manual payments, ensuring deadlines and approval requirements are met.
- Support the Accounts Payable team with invoice queries, backlog processing and day-to-day operational tasks.
- Reconcile supplier statements, resolve vendor queries and help maintain positive supplier relationships.
- Legal accounts juniors with around 6 months experience.
- Strong GCSE / A-Level grades, particularly in Maths.
- Keen interest in studying the AAT Level 2 qualification.
- Capable of handling a broad revenue focused role, including billing and/or collections.
- Working Aderant knowledge will be advantageous, but not essential as training will be provided.
