An exciting career launching role for an HR Assistant looking to develop and grow within a supportive, well-established HR team at a leading US law firm.

Salary to £35,000. 09:30-18:00 working hours and hybrid working (4 days office / 1 day remote). Generous employee benefits to include gym membership contribution, neurodiversity support package, season ticket loan etc.! City / Liverpool Street station location.

This will be a hands-on and varied role, working closely with the Director of Administration (DOA), Senior HR Specialist and the Director of Recruiting, supporting across multiple HR functions and employee relations processes and HR related projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the recruitment process for new hires, onboard new staff, prepare all offer documentation and induction sessions.
  • Manage the departure process and all related administration.
  • Prepare any maternity, paternity, contract change or similar HR correspondence.
  • Ensure that absences are tracked and monitored along with employee milestones and probationary periods.
  • Ad hoc support with payroll and benefits administration.
  • Create good working relations with people at all levels within the firm, flagging any ER issues to the attention of the Senior HR team.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team, for example providing backup reception desk duties when coverage is needed.
Skills & Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in a HR Administrative or HR Assistant role within a law firm.
  • CIPD qualification (or working towards it) is preferred.
  • Good working knowledge of HR administration, processes, and best practice.
  • Experience of managing end to end tasks that require multiple touch points.
