An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and collegiate HR Advisor to join a leading UK law firm, who are renowned for their thriving culture where diversity and wellbeing are at the forefront. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you’ll provide advice on a broad range of HR matters, support key projects and initiatives, and assist with employee relations issues including disciplinary, grievance, and performance matters.

Salary: to £52,000

Contract: 6-month fixed-term contract

Working Arrangement: Hybrid working (3 days office / 2 days remote)

Key Responsibilities of the HR Advisor:

  • Administer family leave (maternity, paternity, shared parental and adoption leave) and flexible working requests
  • Provide support on all aspects of absence management including monitoring sickness absence rates and return to work guidance, occupational health referrals and follow ups
  • Assist HR Business Partners with any disciplinary, grievance, or performance related issues
  • Input data into the monthly payroll and assist with the processing of benefits
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyse data
  • Manage probation processes of mid-probation and end of probation for all new joiners

Skills & Requirements of the HR Advisor:

  • Previous HR experience gained within a law firm
  • CIPD qualified
  • Proficient in use of MS Office and previous experience of HR systems
