Leading UK law firm is seeking a Document Specialist on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract to review and update precedent documents, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with current best practices and the firm’s house style.
Salary to £49,000 (FTE)
6-month fixed-term contract
Full-time / part-time working hours available
Hybrid working – 3 days in the office / 2 days remote
Holborn / Chancery Lane
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for updating any precedent documents for the Knowledge Management department
- Updates include converting to current Word templates and house style, editing, amending, and resolving issues with any corrupt documents to ensure full accuracy and functionality
- An expert in the Farrer house styles and works closely with Knowledge and IT on the knowledge precedents project
Skills & Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role, such as a Document Assistant/Specialist
- Experience of working with complex documents on various IT packages
- You will need to have a very good eye for detail, be a confident trouble-shooter as well as have an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes
