Facilities Assistant Key Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, distributing, and preparing items for despatch
- Scan incoming post and forward to the relevant fee earners or secretaries
- Assist with printing documents and arranging despatch
- Respond to day-to-day facilities requests from staff and report any issues
- Assist with meeting room preparation and office set-up for new starters
- Assist with basic maintenance tasks, room set-ups, and moving furniture or equipment
- Provide reception cover when required, including greeting visitors, answering calls, and notifying staff of arrivals
- Carry out basic health and safety checks and report hazards or faults
Facilities Assistant Key Skills & Requirements:
- At least 6-months experience within a similar role
- 5 GCSEs or equivalent at grade C or above, including Maths and English
- A high attention to details to process and file documentation to a consistently high standard
