Larbey Evans has partnered with a prestigious international law firm to recruit a Junior Legal Secretary who has excellent client care skills to support their lawyers in Bristol. The successful candidate will have previous experience working within a busy corporate environment and will have the ability to communicate in a confident and professional manner with people at all levels across the firm.
Key Responsibilities:- Diary management of fee earners and using own initiative to arrange meetings, conference calls, lunch, and dinner reservations.
- Email management for fee earners during any absences, responding where able.
- Making simple travel arrangements as required e.g. booking train tickets and collating itineraries.
- Amend and format legal documents, convert files between PDF and Word, copy typing, digital dictation, and creating basic PowerPoint presentations.
- Manage document flow to DPD, Reprographics, etc., ensuring timely return and delivery.
- Proofread work for accuracy, collate legal documentation, and set up indexed files as needed.
- High levels of IT literacy in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Previous experience of working within a busy corporate environment is essential.
- Plans, prioritises, and uses technology to work efficiently to achieve the objectives of the team / firm.
