Junior Legal PA (at US Law Firm) Fantastic London based US law firm is looking to hire a new Junior Legal PA, which is a newly created role for the London office – will be supporting 1 partner and 2 associates in the M&A PE team. The right candidate will have a proactive mindset with a genuine willingness to support others. Salary £38-40,000 (experience dependent) Private Medical Insurance / Permanent Health Insurance 30 days annual leave Free GP service and regular health checks Junior Legal PA Key Responsibilities: A full mix of PA and traditional document creation / amending Preparing and formatting legal correspondence and documentation to a high standard Managing busy diaries and coordinating meetings effectively Monitoring and managing emails, ensuring timely responses where appropriate Maintaining accurate and organised electronic and hard copy filing systems Recording time entries and preparing expense reports Arranging travel, including sourcing and booking transport and accommodation, and preparing detailed itineraries Handling incoming calls professionally, screening and directing as appropriate Managing your workload efficiently, using initiative and staying one step ahead Proofreading and carrying out quality checks on all work produced Building strong working relationships with colleagues and external contacts Upporting and maintaining effective administrative systems for the team Organising and maintaining your own information systems Junior Legal PA Skills & Requirements: At least 6 months’ experience in a legal secretarial or administrative role, ideally within a City or West End environment Experience handling confidential information with discretion and integrity Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent attention to detail Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Adobe, with a willingness to learn Positive and practical approach, with resilience and a can do attitude Strong organisational and administrative skills
