One of our most prestigious, globally connected US law firm clients who have the appeal that draws the world’s most ambitious clients and talent alike. They are looking for a Senior HR Manager to join their established London office who will be responsible for the Human Resources functions in the London & International offices (specifically focusing on the Fee-Earner population, including employee relations, business services recruiting, onboarding and workforce management).

Salary to £120,000 (experience dependant)

Hybrid working (4 days office / 1 day remote)

Key Responsibilities of the Senior HR Manager:
  • Providing support and guidance to partners, lawyers, managers, and employees on all employee relations issues such as coaching, discipline, hiring, termination
  • Partner with the Directors, Managers in respect of business support staff hiring and performance management
  • Partner with practice management, HR and employment lawyer in respect of performance management of all lawyers
  • Assist with the HR annual budget in conjunction with the Director of International Human Resources and Chief Human Resources Officer
  • Developing and evaluating effective sources to ensure the most qualified candidates are recruited, interviewed, and selected
Key Skills & Requirements of the Senior HR Manager:
  • CIPD Certification
  • At least 5 years+ law firm experience of professional HR experience with an emphasis in employee relations, recruiting and workforce management, extensive fee-earner experience is desirable
  • Demonstrable commitment to staying up-to-date on the latest HR trends
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organisational, and planning skills
