One of the most highly rated US law firms is recruiting a new Graduate Recruitment Manager to work alongside the Partners. This is the only Graduate Recruitment Manager in the London office, so we are looking for someone who understands the process and can strategically and operationally recruit and develop the best talent in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process for the London based Trainees including advertising, application screening, and overseeing Spring, Summer, and Winter Vacation Schemes.
  • Work closely with the Early Careers Partners and Early Careers Advisor to develop and implement a comprehensive recruitment strategy to attract top talent from leading universities.
  • Provide comprehensive support to future trainees preparing for the Solicitors Qualifying Examinations (SQE).
  • Lead the seat rotation process, ensuring trainees gain a broad and balanced experience across different practice areas.
  • Work closely with the HR team to ensure compliance with visa and immigration requirements and all right-to-work checking processes for trainees completing a seat overseas.
  • Work with trainee seat supervisors to monitor and evaluate trainee performance, provide feedback and support to ensure their professional growth and development.
  • Manage the entire process for all trainee client secondments, ensuring that relevant approvals have been sought, facilitate decisions regarding costs and ensure paperwork is in place.
  • Responsible for the annual application and selection process for trainees qualifying as E&W solicitors, including engagement with business leaders to determine NQ resourcing needs, qualification discussions and selection processes.
  • Manage the transition process for trainees qualifying as E&W solicitors, including admission to the Law Society and integrations in the practice groups as a Newly Qualified Solicitor.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in Early Careers within a law firm.
  • Bachelor’s degree educated.
