Leading UK law firm is seeking a Document Specialist on an initial 6‑month fixed‑term contract to review and update precedent documents, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with current best practices and the firm’s house style.

Salary to £49,000 (FTE)

6-month fixed-term contract

Full-time / part-time working hours available

Hybrid working – 3 days in the office / 2 days remote

Holborn / Chancery Lane

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for updating any precedent documents for the Knowledge Management department.
  • Updates include converting to current Word templates and house style, editing, amending, and resolving issues with any corrupt documents to ensure full accuracy and functionality.
  • An expert in the Farrer house styles and works closely with Knowledge and IT on the knowledge precedents project.
Skills & Requirements
  • Experience in a similar role, such as a Document Assistant/Specialist.
  • Experience of working with complex documents on various IT packages.
  • You will need to have a very good eye for detail, be a confident trouble‑shooter as well as have an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes.
