Top UK law firm is seeking to hire a Junior Real Estate Legal Secretary for their thriving Real Estate team which is at the heart of the London office.

Salary to £32,000

Hybrid working (3 days in office / 2 days remote)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work within a shared “pool” system, proactively picking up and progressing tasks across the team to meet deadlines
  • Prepare and process payment request forms accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with internal procedures
  • Formatting and producing documents and any other relevant documentation
  • Upload, manage, and track documents via DocuSign for electronic signature
  • Assisting fee-earners with the opening of new files
  • Obtaining title information and submitting SIM/priority searches at the Land Registry and registering applications online
  • Conduct property searches, including OS2, SIM, and other relevant conveyancing searches
  • Providing and setting up iManage Share portals for clients portal details
  • Handle post-completion work, including SDLT submissions, AP1 applications, Land Registry requisitions, and other post-completion formalities
  • Audio and copy typing and document processing
Key Skills & Responsibilities:
  • At least 1 years’ Legal PA / Secretarial experience within a Real Estate / Property department at a law firm
  • Comfortable working within a shared “pool” system and taking initiative to pick up work as needed
  • Strong sense of initiative & analytical attitude
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills
  • An advanced knowledge of Word applications such as auto – numbering, bookmarks, and track changes
