A brand new and recently created role has arisen at one of our prestigious US law firm clients for a Commercial Finance Manager to work alongside the team within legal strategic pricing, project management and commercial finance. The London office is currently experiencing exponential growth and are keen to hire a dynamic individual who is client-service oriented to head up the commercial finance function.

Salary to £110,000

09:30-17:30 working hours

Hybrid working – 4 days in the office / 1 day remote

£100 monthly employee contribution towards lunch or other expenses

Liverpool St / City

Key Responsibilities:
  • Devise, negotiate and implement custom fee arrangements to ensure client's business objectives are satisfied while meeting firm strategic and financial requirements.
  • Advise Partners on value-based pricing strategy specific to key practice areas and industries.
  • Monitor matter performance against budgets and pricing assumptions; identify variances, escalate risks, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Incorporate legal technology, data analytics and emerging AI-enabled tools.
  • Provide research, data analysis, and project support for strategic initiatives and department-wide projects.
Skills & Requirements:
  • 3 years+ commercial finance experience required within a law firm.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics is preferable.
  • Understanding of corporate transactions within legal, pricing engagements, RFP submissions etc.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) & legal and financial systems.
