A fantastic opportunity for a confident and trustworthy school or university leaver looking for their first job in the City as an Office Assistant at a leading law firm in London. In this role, you will provide admin support and assistance to the Office Manager on a wide range of duties. Someone who has a helpful attitude, is a team player, and is keen to get involved will be perfect for this role.

Salary: £24-25,000

Working hours: 9am to 5:30pm

Key Responsibilities:
  • Daily house-keeping checks to ensure all areas have been correctly cleaned, meeting rooms are properly set up, printers are fully stocked, kitchens and bathrooms are correctly supplied.
  • Assisting with reception duties, answering the telephone, meeting and greeting clients on arrival at reception.
  • Post room duties, including opening and distribution of mail, and collection and franking of mail.
  • Distribution of courier packages, deeds, and files.
  • Assisting with printing, copying, scanning, binding, and laminating requests.
  • Assisting with event set-up and take down.
  • Assisting with office moves, stationery, and other supply checks.
  • Shopping, court runs, and other ad-hoc duties as required.
Skills & Requirements:
  • Good academics, including GCSE English and Maths (C or above).
  • Possess good communication skills.
  • Comfortable in dealing with members of the firm at all levels.
  • Excellent timekeeping skills.
