Leading City based Corporate international law firm is looking to hire a new Events Coordinator to assist in the execution of their client events programs and supporting firmwide marketing initiatives in the London headquarters located close to Liverpool Street station.

The Events Coordinator will report into the Events Manager with the implementing of London based internal, external and virtual events and be accountable for the development and delivery of events through marketing and business development continuing to enhance the firm’s five star brand and client following. The role is extremely varied and will suit a hands-on Events Assistant / Executive / Coordinator with up to 3 years corporate events experience, preferably whilst currently working in a law firm.
Events Coordinator duties will include:
- Work with partners and associates on the end-to-end execution of events including seminars, drinks receptions and corporate hospitality on time and within budget
- Develop invitation lists, coordinate speakers, email invitations and reminders to the guest list and co-ordinate responses, prepare documentation and manage event communications
- On site venue management on the day, coordinating set up of furniture and equipment, greet guests, co-ordinate with Reception colleagues and external waiting staff
- Analyse and report on delegate feedback
- Venue research, support on budgets and work with external suppliers / vendors as required
- Reporting on data for the firm’s events in collaboration with the Marketing & BD team, and communications such as newsletters/e-alerts
- Work collaboratively within the marketing and BD team in the production of marketing collateral required for a range of purposes
Events Coordinator applicants require:
- Minimum of 1 years relevant legal industry events experience
- Educated to degree level in Events, Marketing, Business or related field as well further marketing qualifications being a plus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience using Events and CRM systems such as Vuture and Salesforce
- Excellent writing and proof-reading skills
