An exciting opportunity has arisen at our international law firm client for a Billing Assistant to join their London office on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract. This role would suit someone who has previous administrative experience, who is looking to gain more experience in a billing role and who is keen to develop their understanding of law firm operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the billing process in the team, liaising with fee earners and PAs to ensure the accurate and timely processing of all invoices.
Key Responsibilities:- Managing the billing process and systems in conjunction with the Accounts team and members of the IP team
- Liaising with Partners / Associates to ensure all invoices are produced accurately and on time
- Liaising with the PAs to ensure invoices are distributed to clients in a timely manner, including working with the PAs to manage external client queries
- Dealing with internal queries and working in conjunction with the relevant individuals at the firm to ensure issues are dealt with promptly
- Liaising directly with the fee earners to understand the individual needs of clients and any impact this may have on the billing process
- Filing of all billing-related documentation
- Previous administrative experience, preferably gained within a law firm or similar role, is essential
- Five GCSE (including Maths and English) at level C or above
- Good mathematical skills (candidates must be comfortable working with numbers)
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Comfortable working with different systems
