This highly established US law firm is seeking an experienced HR Specialist on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract, to support the firm’s HR initiatives across employee relations, compensation and benefits, reward, recruitment, and onboarding for all business services and legal personnel in the EMEA offices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with note taking at disciplinary/capability/grievance hearings for employees as required
  • Arrange meetings and conference calls and exercise good judgment with regard to priorities and urgency to resolve conflicting appointments
  • Manage the new hire process and assist with the leaver process for personnel
  • Provide support on the coordination of the new hire induction process, including compiling welcome packs and induction meetings
  • Liaise with recruitment agencies to discuss vacancies, CVs, and schedule interviews
  • Support the US team by issuing onboarding training reminders for EMEA new hires
  • Oversee Return-to-Work processes, partnering with local offices and global HR to ensure completion of required documentation
  • Support on the annual Lawyer and Business Services performance cycles
  • Attend Performance Evaluation and Compensation meetings and assist with note taking of discussions
Skills & Requirements:
  • Applicants must have 3 years’ experience in HR at specialist level within a law firm
  • CIPD qualified, or studying towards, is highly desirable
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications
  • Previous experience using Chrome River, Workday, ADP iHCM would be advantageous
