Business Development Specialist – What You’ll Be Doing:
- Support business and client development planning, including budgets and reporting
- Assist with pitches, proposals and client-facing materials, including tailored research and content
- Support client meetings, BD initiatives and follow-up activities
- Conduct client, market and competitor research to identify opportunities and inform strategy
- Support key client relationship initiatives and track BD activity
- Maintain marketing materials, presentations, lawyer profiles and matter records
- Contribute to thought leadership, industry updates, directory submissions and awards
- Support the planning and delivery of client events, conferences and sponsorships
- Contribute to wider global, EU and London business development projects as required
Business Development Specialist – What We’re Looking For:
- 3 years of Business Development experience within a law firm
- Skilled in using relevant technology and software (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Excel, InterAction)
- Relevant Marketing or Business Development qualification (e.g. CIM or equivalent) advantageous
- Knowledge of Finance, Business Restructuring, and Real Estate practices
- An understanding of banks, financial institutions, investment funds and the infrastructure sector in the UK and EU markets is desirable
