This role will suit a current Business Developer with minimum 3 years’ experience looking to take on more responsibility and gain direct experience in a smaller setting. The Business Development Specialist will play a pivotal role in directly supporting key practice groups in the London office. This is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with lawyers and leaders across all the London and European departments and support on special projects and share best practice intelligence.
The Business Development Specialist RoleThey are keen to hire a Business Development Specialist who is a seasoned influencer and confident relationship builder used to working with qualified Partners across a diverse range of cultures.
- Creating and maintaining tailored materials for various business development opportunities, including pitches, client presentations, attorney biographies, RFPs and other client facing materials.
- Researching hot topics and thought leadership opportunities.
- Maintain representative engagement and client lists.
- Gathering business intelligence and research for current and prospective clients as well as gathering competitive intelligence for allocated practice areas and industries.
- Producing directory submissions for allocated practice areas (Chambers, Legal 500, etc.).
- Identify relevant marketing opportunities and BD, such as speaking engagements and awards.
- Maintain the CRM database by helping to consolidate our matter capture process, that includes matter experience for assigned practice groups.
- Support with in person events and webinars.
Candidates will be degree educated, have relevant business development experience within the legal industry preferably within a corporate law firm environment. You will be a confident influencer, able to execute business development strategies, possess strong client service orientation, with the ability to work across multiple business units.
